How fantasy cricket differs from watching a match
Your fantasy XI is scored against the published points table, not against another person's opinion. Runs, wickets, catches, stumpings, strike-rate or economy adjustments, and captain multipliers can all matter. Read the contest's scoring rules before selecting a team because a familiar player is not automatically the best fantasy pick.
The team deadline is important. Once a match begins, teams generally lock and late changes may be unavailable. Check the exact deadline displayed for the fixture, especially when a toss, weather delay, or playing-XI announcement changes the information available.
