The Telegram forwards and random YouTube links promising "COME APK mod" are almost always repackaged with junk you don't want.

It's real in the sense that people deposit, play, and cash out — same as Dream11 or MPL. It's not on the Play Store because Google bars real-money gaming apps in India, which is why every legit operator (Dream11 included) ships an APK. That said, "real" doesn't mean safe by default.
